Two day YPST Course
Steve is amazing simply put, the course he runs is both informative as well as fun. He has helped me achieve my qualification. He is a nice guy as well as a good laugh, he managed to keep  a room full of adults engaged whilst also retaining the information. I personally prefer learning in a practical sense and he managed to blend both reading whilst also keeping it practical when the situation came up.

For example rather than just show us how to do something he would get us to do it, for me this is a better way of learning as it really helps you think about how could I do that better or what would I do next time.

If you are looking to get qualified Stephen is your man, Incredible knowledge and friendly attitude.

Two Day NSRA YSPT Course
I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction with the Youth Shooting Proficiency Tutor Training (YSP) course provided by Stephen Batchelor. As the CPO of our rifle and pistol club, I was tasked with finding a suitable course to train our new team of youth volunteers.

Despite the challenges of finding such courses, I was fortunate to discover Stephen Batchelor's offering through a simple online search. The course was not only accessible but also offered at a remarkably reasonable cost. From the initial contact, Stephen's professionalism and helpfulness were evident as he patiently answered all of my inquiries.

The course itself was exceptionally well-organized and engaging. The instructors were knowledgeable and experienced, delivering the material in a way that was both informative and interactive. The use of 3D-printed teaching aids provided clear explanations and enhanced understanding. Additionally, the course covered a wide range of topics, ensuring that our volunteers were equipped with the necessary skills to deliver effective YPS training.

The range officer training component was particularly valuable, providing me with the confidence to maintain a safe and controlled environment for our novice shooters. The course materials, including the QR code-linked teaching aids, will be invaluable as we implement YSP training within our club.

I wholeheartedly recommend Stephen Batchelor's NRSA YSPT course to any organisation seeking to train their youth members in safe and responsible firearm handling. The quality of instruction, the comprehensive curriculum, and the overall experience were exceptional. We look forward to attending future courses and continuing our partnership with Stephen and his team as their knowledge and expertise are invaluable. We look forward to being able to help grow our sport and help young athletes on their professional development with their shooting career.

Kind Regards,

Lindsay Pothecary
